This is an exceptional exhibition that features 2D and 3D assemblages that push the boundaries of what you thought possible with a simple sheet of paper.
On at the Burrinja Gallery, Upwey Victoria, this exhibition offers a unique look at how artists manipulate an everyday material into extraordinary creations. The pieces showcased various traditional and other techniques including folding, weaving, tearing, cutting, collage, bookbinding and pulp paper, displaying a strong sustainability theme.
A few highlights follow and congratulations to the artists, curator and the gallery for a really wonderful exhibition.
